Cancellations & Refunds
Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover losses which are out of our control such as sickness, travel disruption etc. You may already be covered by your bank or credit card.
Room Reservations
If we have to cancel your reservation due to our own unforeseen circumstances, you can expect a full refund with us taking the financial loss of an unsold night. Conversely, if you have to cancel your reservation due to your own unforeseen circumstances, you agree to take the financial loss of an unattendable stay.
However, we are happy to extend the following compromise in your favour in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
- Cancellations with more than 30 days’ notice will be refunded in full.
- Cancellations with less than 30 days’ notice will be refunded 50%.
- Cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice are not refundable.
- Grace period: 24 hours. Meaning you can cancel free of charge in the first 24 hours after booking, provided your arrival is not within the next 7 days.
A further suggestion in the event of a non refundable cancellation is for you to re-sell your booking to someone else to recoup some or all of your expense.
Spa Sessions and Afternoon Teas
- Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice will get a full refund.
- Cancellations with less notice are not refundable.
Afternoon Teas, Food & Drink (applies to cabin guests only)
Any afternoon teas and food you may have paid for in advance will always be refunded as long as it is cancelled by 9pm the night before. Any drinks paid for in advance will always be refunded.
Vegan House Rule
- To protect the sanctity of our vegan retreat for all guests, animal derived food products (meat, fish, milk, cheese, butter & eggs) and food products containing such ingredients are not allowed on the premises. Any breach of this rule may lead to you being asked to leave on the same day with no refund. With regards to food for your companion animals, we are happy to make an exception provided it is packaged as 'pet food'.
- Terms of booking are full payment at time of making your booking.
